Bonnie Brae Veterinary Hospital is a 4 DVM practice with a support team that welcomes the opportunity to maintain optimum health of our client's companions, through complete preventative and wellness care, during all stages of life, from pediatric to geriatric.
We utilize electronic medical records (Cornerstone), have Idexx out lab and Idexx in house diagnostics including Sedivue, digital dental x-ray and DR x-ray.
We also offer an integrative approach, with acupuncture, chiropractic, and Chinese herbal medicine as additional services.

You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital.

Position Skills:
Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery and minor procedures, surgical assisting, and pro-actively set up for any procedures or diagnostic testsRestrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring mannerObtain accurate vitals, obtain medical histories, and/or note any changes of patient's condition to DVMCollect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologiesCare and maintenance of all medical equipment including laboratory machines, surgical packs, anesthesia machines, and any other tools that are essential to daily operationsHigh quality client communication on patient updates and questionsPosition Requirements:
High School diploma or GED certificateFlexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shiftsKnowledge of medical procedures and animal handlingMust possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations, and work with others on a team respectfullyMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsPay range of $12.
35-$20.
